2024 6’1 200 QB – Aidan Conrath – Gonzaga
While the Purple Eagles fell just barely short in overtime, Aidan Conrath had a career day versus St. John’s, and he consistently put his team in a position to win throughout the contest. Conrath threw for 234 yards on 16/25 passing with 3 total touchdowns, and his performance was nothing short of spectacular. He played even better in clutch time, driving the length of the field and throwing a game-tying touchdown pass to send it to OT. Aidan Conrath ended the day with a jaw-dropping 134.0 QBR, and he showed the entire WCAC that he’s a top tier quarterback in the conference. Quarterback scouts nationwide must have Gonzaga Captain Aidan Conrath on their watchlists, because he showcased tremendous arm talent and anticipation against an elite St. John’s defense. Conrath and the Purple Eagles kickoff against Good Counsel this Friday in the first round of the WCAC playoffs!
ABOUT AIDAN
Aidan Conrath started playing football at the age of 6 and started playing QB at 7. After finishing his junior season as the starting quarterback at Gonzaga College High School in Washington DC he was named Captain for his senior season in 2023. He made the varsity team in his freshman year and started as varsity QB in his sophomore season. At the age of 15 he came in to lead the Eagles to a victory in a must-win game to make the playoffs against Bishop McNamera.
Aidan was named the Washington Post Player of the Week after his first game of his Junior season. He finished his junior season as the highest rated QB in the WCAC Capital Division.

In his Senior year he has again led the WCAC as the Top QB as well as putting up multiple 4 TD games. He has again led his team to the playoffs for the 3rd straight season as well as a winning record.

His knowledge of the game as well as his elite ability to play the position will take him far. He never bought into the stars and rankings and figures that his ability will get him where he needs to go. Aidan wants to go to a team that really wants him for who he is and not just because he checks certain boxes.
Aidan was heavily recruited by Gonzaga starting in 7th grade when he won Tony Colston’s Gunslinger Challenge in Tennessee. He also won his middle school championship in his first year. Aidan lives in Stafford, VA and commutes 60 miles each day to school. He felt that if he was going to play at the next level he had better chances to play at Gonzaga. A multitude of reasons that were considered were, playing in one of the toughest conferences in the country, playing for Head Coach Randy Trivers and Offensive Coordinator Danny Schactner, and playing with and learning from Caleb Williams who would be a senior when Aidan was a freshman.
